Peyton Siva hit the game-winning three-pointer and ALBA Berlin stunned ASVEL Villeurbanne in EuroLeague Round 9.
The Germans led only twice in the game and earned a hard-fought victory, thanks to Siva’s three-pointer, with two seconds to go (76-75)
Siva returned to action for the first time in one month and scored 10 points for the winners, with Luke Sikma adding 16.
On the other hand, ASVEL came close to a big road win in the EuroLeague, but came up short in the end.
Moustapha Fall had a career night in the EuroLeague, with 25 points, on 10-of-12 two-point shooting, and 10 rebounds.
ALBA now is at 2-5 in the EuroLeague standings, whereas ASVEL dropped to 1-6 and remained on the bottom.
Crvena Zvezda ended a three-game losing streak after rallying past Armani Milano on the road (79-87).
Jordan Loyd again led the winners with a game-high 17 poins, as Corey Walden added 15.
Zvezda took over after halftime and never looked back, earning another road win in the EuroLeague.
On the other hand, Armani played just its second EuroLeague game since October 16 and suffered their first loss at home this season.
Five players scored in double figures for the Italians, with Vladimir Micov posting 13.
Crvena Zvezda now is at 4-5 in the EuroLeague table, whereas Armani dropped to 3-3.
Real Madrid extended its winning streak in the EuroLeague to four games, after dominating Maccabi Tel-Aviv at home (79-63).
The “Whites” took a double-digit lead after the first quarter (29-18) and never looked back.
Maccabi never recovered after that and lost for the sixth time in the first nine EuroLeague rounds.

EuroLeague suspended the game between Barcelona and Olympiacos, as the “Reds” are dealing with several positive coronavirus cases.
Five members of the team have tested positive and the entire team is in quarantine.
EuroLeague will reschedule the game to a later date.
