Nate Robinson opts to join Hapoel Tel-Aviv

Nate Robinson Nate Robinson (175 cm, Washinton’05) bids goodbye to the NBA for now as he signs with Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League) this 2016. Robinson was released by the New Orleans Pelicans in October 2015 after playing two games for them where he averaged zero points and 2.0 apg. Robinson was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the first round, 21st overall in the 2005 NBA Draft.

In the 2014-15 season the “undersized” guard played 33 games for the Denver Nuggets and he registered averages of 5.8 ppg and 2.3 apg. In January 2015 he was traded to the Boston Celtics. He was released and later signed with the Los Angeles Clippers where he played nine games and averaged 5.1 ppg and 2.2 apg.
