John Jenkins picked up by RETAbet Bilbao

John Jenkins (193 cm, G) is on his way to Spain. There he will join RETAbet Bilbao and coach Alex Mumbru. Bilbao is in the middle of a disappointing start to the season, sitting at 17th place in the ACB standings with a 1-7 record. Jenkins started last season with the New York Knicks, moved to China for a short stint of four games in the CBA, before moving to Israel for an even shorter stint. In two Israeli Winner League games for Hapoel Eilat, Jenkins averaged 17 ppg.

John Jenkins played over 170 games in the NBA for five different franchises.

He also played the 17/18 season in Spain when he averaged 12.7 ppg for Burgos.

Now 29 years old, Jenkins played college basketball in the SEC, where he averaged 19.9 ppg for Vanderbilt his senior year.
