Yannick Anzuluni pens with Umea
Umea BSKT of Sweden’s Basketligan is strengthening its roster for the 2015/16 season with the recent addition of Yannick Anzuluni (205 cm, Houghton’10). He is a 27-year-old player who has dual citizenship from Canada and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Anzuluni spent the 2014/15 playing in the German Pro B for the Rostock Seawolves. He played a total of 32 games for them and produced averages of 21.0 ppg and 8.1 rpg. He was particularly exceptional on defense last season, averaging an impressive 3.2 steals per game.
In 2013/14 played for Pyrinto Tampere (Finland-Korisliiga), as well as its sister team Pyrinto Tampere II (Finland-1st Division). He played 20 games for Pyrinto Tampere in the Baltic league and averaged 8.0 ppg and 5.2 rpg. He appeared in only one game in the domestic Finnish league and scored 15 points and grabbed five steals. He logged 28 games in the Finnish 1st Division for Pyrinto Tampere II and there he posted averages of 24.4 ppg and 13.9 rpg.
