Victor Toribio joins Valerio

Victor Toribio (198 cm) is returning to his native Dominican Republic to play with Plaza Valerio (LNB) for the second time in his career. The swingman who also holds nationality in the USA has been playing in various leagues around the globe since he last played with Valerio four years ago. In that time he has played in countries such as Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Germany, and Luxemburg.

During the 2011-2012 season Victor Toribio played 16 games with Asociacion de Basquetbol Temuco in the Chilean Liga Nacional and during his time with Temuco Toribio he averaged 19.4ppg, 9.0rpg, and 3.3apg. Plaza Valerio is close to entering the playoffs in the Dominican Republic’s LNB season and they will be pleased to have bolstered their roster with the experienced Toribio.
