Vander Blue inks with Le Zion

Vander Blue (200 cm, Marquette´13) has signed for Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion of the Israeli Winner League. The shooting guard is in his rookie season and has recently been released by NBA franchise the Philadelphia 76ers. The young prospect has had a busy summer in the NBA summer camps in Las Vegas and Orlando.

In Vegas he represented the Memphis Grizzlies over six games and averaged 11.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. In Orlando the American played two games for the Houston Rockets and secured numbers of 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

Vander Blue is just 21 years old and had a solid final season for Marquette in the NCAA during the 2012/2013 season. He played 34 games and averaged 14.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
