Unics Kazan wins first road game in Eurocup
There were two games on Tuesday night; UNICS Kazan held on for a tough road win at Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul, and ratiopharm Ulm bested Germani Brescia.
Group A
UNICS Kazan collected its first road win of the season by holding off Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul 67-70 on Tuesday evening at Akatlar Arena. UNICS trailed by as many as 17 in the first half and survived a fourth-quarter that featured six lead changes and two ties to improve to 4-2 on the season. Bahcesehir, which lost by 3 points or less for the third time this season, saw its record drop to 0-7. Jamar Smith led the way for UNICS with 17 points and 5 assists – including 5 free throws in the final minute to keep Bahcesehir at bay. Erick Green paced Bahcesehir with 23 points.
Group B
Dylan Osetowski turned in a dominant performance to lead ratiopharm Ulm to an 88-76 victory over Germani Brescia on Tuesday at ratiopharm arena. Osetowski went for 32 points and 7 rebounds to carry Ulm to its second straight victory and a 3-4 record. Kenny Chery paced the Brescia attack with 15 points and 5 assists as the team fell to the bottom of the group with a 1-5 record.
