Trevor Mbakwe signed by Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Trevor Mbakwe (207 cm, Minnesota’13) has agreed to terms with Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League) and will be a new face on their roster this 2015/16 season. Trevor is a Nigerian-American player who played for German club Brose Baskets Bamberg (BBL) in 2014/15. He appeared in 18 games during their run in the Eurocup. He posted averages of 8.7 ppg and 8.4 rpg, getting things done in the paint for his club. Mbakwe also logged 42 games for Brose Baskets in the domestic German league and there he was able to average 1o.3 ppg and 7.2 rpg. He helped his team reach the finals of the German Bundesliga Cup and win the German Bundesliga Championship in 2015.
