Travis Peterson (208 cm, Samford’08) is off to Spain as he signs with Valencia Basket (Spain-Liga Endesa) for the 2016-17 season. The 31-year-old veteran from Samford spent his 2015-16 season playing for Avtodor Saratov (Russia-VTB). He played 16 games for them during their run in the Eurocup and was able to deliver solid production with 18.1 ppg and 6.6 rpg. Travis also logged 32 games in the VTB United league and there he produced averages of 13.5 ppg and 7.6 rpg. It was his second season with the Russian club, signing with them at the beginning of 2014-15.
