Tomislav Gabric signs with Treviso Basket

Tomislav Gabric (204 cm) agreed to terms with De Longhi Treviso Basket (Italy-Serie A2). The Italian team brings in Gabric as they head into the playoffs. They concluded their season last Saturday to finish with the first seed at 21-9.

Gabric will bring another perimeter scoring option to Treviso. Earlier this season, the Croatian power forward scored 12.4 ppg while shooting 36.8 percent from three for BCM U Pitesti (Romania-Liga Nationala). The 21-year-old Gabric is already in his sixth season playing professionally. Now he will move his game over to Italy for the first time.

Last season, Gabric played with Metalac (Serbia-KLS) for 30 games. He played 18.0 mpg in 25 Adriatic league matches where he scored 7.8 ppg and grabbed 2.6 rpg. The majority of his shot attempts come from three where he shot 39.1 percent. His three point shooting will need to show up in order for him to make an impact on his new team.
