Thomas Abercrombie now with Gipuzkoa

Spanish Liga Endesa team Gipuzkoa San Sebastian has landed the services of New Zealand player Thomas Abercrombie (198 cm, Washington State’08) this 2015. Thomas has been a long-time member of the New Zealand national team with stints in 2006, 2009-11, and again in 2013-14. He began the 2014/15 season playing for the New Zealand Breakers (Australia-NBL). He appeared in 29 games and was able to post averages of 11.2 ppg and 4.3 rpg.

In 2013/14 he also began with the Breakers and averaged 15.6 ppg and 3.9 rpg in 28 games, later moving on to sign with French Pro A club ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket. He played seven games in the French league and averaged 4.7 ppg and 2.9 rpg.
