Terrence Williams pens with Guayama
Terrence Williams (198 cm, Louisville’09) has agreed to terms with Brujos de Guayama (Puerto Rico-BSN) and will be coming in to replace an injured Al Thornton. The former NBA swingman began the 2013-14 season on the roster of Turk Telekom Ankara (Turkey-TBL) where he played a couple of games and averaged 4.0 ppg and 2.0 rpg. He then moved to NBA D-League and signed with the Los Angeles D-Fenders. He played a total of 34 games for the D-Fenders and delivered a well-rounded stat line with 20.6 ppg, 5.1 rpg and 6.3 apg.
In the 2012-13 season he spent some time with both the Detroit Pistons and the Boston Celtics. He was released by the Pistons early in the season and he initially went to China to play for the Guangdong Southern Tigers where he averaged 17.9 ppg and 4.1 apg in 29 games. He moved to the Celtics in February. He played 29 games off their bench and averaged 4.0 ppg and 1.9 rpg.
