Terrence Shannon pens for Pirates
Terrence Shannon (203 cm, Elgin CC’99) has been signed by Pirates de Quebradillas of the Puerto Rico BSN for the upcoming season. The veteran forward has recently played for Bucaneros de La Guaira (Venezuela, LPB) where he played three times and averaged 13.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Earlier in the campaign the American picked up some game time playing for Toros de Nuevo Laredo in the Mexican LNBP. Shannon featured in eight games for the franchise and secured numbers of 14.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
The experienced player had a busy 2012/2013 campaign that started with Fuerza Regia Monterrey (Mexico-LNBP) where he had 17.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Later in the season Terrence Shannon moved to La Union Formosa (Argentina, Liga A) where he had 14.3 points and 7.1 rebounds from 27 games.
The 34-year old has spent much of his career in South America but has also added stints in the USA, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
