Tautvydas Lydeka heads to Vilnius

Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (LKL, VTB League, and Euroleague) have added Lithuanian international Tautvydas Lydeka (208 cm) to its roster. This season Lydeka has been playing with Krasnie Krilya in Russia where he competed in the Russian league, the VTB United League, and the Eurochallenge.

Court time has been hard to come by this campaign for Tautvydas Lydeka with the 29-year old power forward used sparingly by Krasnie Krilya. During 8 VTB United games, he averaged 7 points per game while his 3 Russian PBL games only returned 2.7 points per game.

Last season proved more fruitful for the player as he completed 41 games with Scavolini Siviglia Pesaro (Italy Serie A) where he averaged 7.5ppg and 4.6rpg. Lydeka will now return to his native Lithuania with Rytas Vilnius.
