Taurean Green to sign with Limoges

Former NBA guard Taurean Green (184 cm, Florida’07) is signing a contract to play for Limoges CSP Elite from France’s ProA this 2013-14. Green was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers, 52nd overall in the 2007 NBA draft.

Green played for Sigma Barcellona from Italy’s Lega Due Gold in the 2012-13 season. In 31 games Taurean averaged 12.4 ppg and 4.7 apg. He helped Sigma Barcellona finish atop of the Lega Due Gold standings at the end of the regular season in 2013.

In 2011-12 he played in the Spanish ACB for C.B. Gran Canaria 2014. In 14 games in the Spanish league he averaged 3.5 ppg and 2.2 apg. He played eight games for them in the Eurocup and there he hit averages of 7.3 ppg and 2.3 apg. Green left the team in February and signed with Tofas Bursa from Turkey’s TBL, where he averaged 9.4 ppg and 3.9 apg.
