Syracuse still unbeaten, #1 in AP poll
Syracuse is 21-0 after beating Notre Dame 61-55 and is the unanimous No. 1 in the Associated Press poll. They are on an incredible run, the best in school history. Their win against Notre Dame comes after an exciting win over Duke on Saturday, 91-89.
“We’re happy to be No. 1,” coach Jim Boeheim said Monday. “Obviously, it’s taken a lot of hard work. It’s an honor. We’ll try to keep playing well.”
Syracuse is the fourth team to hold the No. 1 ranking this season after Kentucky, Michigan State and Arizona.
