Strawberry chooses Karsiyaka

D.J. Strawberry (196 cm, Maryland’07) has penned a deal with Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir (Turkey, TBL) after leaving Piratas de Quebradillas (Puerto Rico, BSN). The American joined Piratas two weeks ago for the BSN summer league and over three games he averaged 10.3 points and 4.7 boards per game. Strawberry is a former NBA guard who featured in 33 Regular Season games for the Phoenix Suns throughout the 2007/2008 campaign.

During the 2013/2014 season he played for KK Cibona Zagreb (Croatia, A1 and Adriatic League) and Pau-Lacq-Orthez in the French ProA. D.J. Strawberry has plenty of experience and has taken to the court in Lithuania, Israel, and Italy.
