Steven Roundtree signs with Byblos Sporting
Steven Roundtree (206 cm, William Penn ’16) has been picked up by Byblos Sporting Club (Lebanon-Pepsi LBL). The Lebanese club is playing well in the Pepsi LBL as they are in second place with a 10-2 record. This will be the first team Roundtree plays for professionally. The power forward is coming off his only full season with William Penn. He primarily came off the bench for 35 games and won newcomer of the year in the HAAC. The American big man scored 16.1 ppg with 9.3 rpg and 2.4 apg in 26.5 mpg. Before playing with William Penn, Roundtree transferred after three seasons at Oral Roberts. He played with Oral Roberts from 2010-2013 then took off a year in the 2013/2014 season then went to William Penn. He appeared in the first three games in the 2014/2015 season with William Penn then sat out the rest of the season. The team featured him much more in his final season and they made it to the NAIA D1 Elite Eight.
