Smush Parker joins Selcuk Universitesi

After a very brief stint playing for Peristeri GS Athens (Greece-A1), Smush Parker (193 cm, Fordham’02) is finding his way to Turkey. He has signed a deal to play for Torku Selcuk Universitesi Konya (Turkey TB2L). He played three games for Peristeri and averaged 15.3 ppg and 2.7 rpg. He transferred there early this March after playing for KK Cibona VIP Zagreb from Croatia’s A1 League. In five games playing for them in the Adriatic League, the 32-year-old Parker averaged 9.8 ppg and 1.6 rpg.

Parker played for several NBA teams in the early part of his career. Among them included the Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and most notably with the Los Angeles Lakers 2005 to 2007.
