Shevon Thompson to Bamberg

Shevon Thompson (211 cm, C) is off to an odd start of the 20/21 season.

Thompson first signed with ALBA Berlin but never played a minute in the German capital. He then moved to the Spanish ACB, where he played a mere five games for Montakit Fuenlabrada (5 ppg, 4.5 rpg). He is now moving back to Germany as he has inked with Brose Bamberg and coach Johan Roijakkers.

Shevon Thompson, Jamaican, comes off a successful 19/20 campaign with Oostende, where he contributed with 13.5 ppg and 10.1 rebounds in Fiba ChampionsLeague play. He also helped them to the Belgian championship.

Thompson played college basketball at George Mason. In his senior season, he averaged 9.9 ppg and 10.6 rebounds.
