Sava Lesic heads to Mega Leks
Sava Lesic (205 cm) agreed to terms with Mega Leks (Serbia-KLS). The Serbian big man is making the transition after playing with Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia (Italy-Serie A) this season. Grissin and Lesic parted ways in January after 17 games where he averaged 6.8 ppg and 2.7 rpg while playing just 14.2 mpg. Not much time on the court was in-store for Lesic in Italy this season but that does not define his career. Last season with Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia-Liga Nova KBM) the big man was on the court for 28.3 mpg. In the Slovenian league, he scored 16.8 ppg while shooting 42.6 percent from three. Lesic showed his ability to battle on the boards with 7.8 rpg as well. His playing caliber seems to go up when he receives more playing time rather than sitting on the bench and coming in cold.

Lesic will work his way onto the court for his new team. Mega Leks is entering the stretch run of their season. Right now they are playing in the ABA league where they recorded an 11-15 record which is good for sixth place. Adding Lesic should add a proven rebounder with the ability to make big shots while playing with a high basketball IQ.
