Rudy Gobert, Jazz finalize $205 million extension
Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz have reached an agreement on a $205 million, five-year contract extension, according to reports over the weekend.
It is the largest contract in NBA history for a center.
The 28-year-old Frenchman joined the Jazz in 2013. The veteran center is a two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
Gobert’s lucrative new deal comes days after Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo signed a super-max deal, $228 million pact for five years.

Gobert averaged 15.1 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 68 games last season.
