Roderick Trice signs with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg

Roderick Trice (185 cm, South Carolina ’06) is coming back to Ludwigsburg (Germany- BBL). Roderick, also known as Rocky, last suited up for Ludwigsburg in the 2015/2016 season. The 32-year-old shooting guard averaged 11.9 ppg, with 4.3 rpg in 29 games for the German club. Before the move back to Germany, Rocky played in only three games for MKS DG (Poland-PLK) this season before leaving the team on December 1st due to health problems.

Trice grew up in Swainsboro, Georgia and went to play for Georiga Perimeter College directly after high school. Two years were spent playing for the JUCO, which then led to his move to the University of South Carolina where he spent his junior and senior years  There he started in 28 games as a senior averaging 6.9 ppg, 3.2 rpg in 26.1 mpg. He did not get drafted after college which led him to play in either Poland or Germany since college.
