Rickey Gibson inks with MBC

Rickey Gibson (191 cm, Stillman’06) has signed with Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels (Germany, BBL) until the end of the season. The 28-year old guard has recently departed Switzerland based team SAV Vacallo (Premier League) after the team was forced to fold due to financial difficulties. The American had played 16 times with Vacallo this season and was posting averages of 10.2ppg, 3.9rpg and 7.3apg.

The end of SAV Vacallo was a major blow to Rickey Gibson who had been with the Swiss team since the start of the 2007 season. In fact he had only ever played pro ball with the team but he must now start again with MBC in Germany.
