Portsmouth Invitational Day 4: Finals
The 61st Annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament concluded on Saturday evening with the playing of the consolation games, the 3rd place game and the championship.
Portsmouth Invitational Chairman Mahlon Parker presents BYU’s Brandon Davies with the 2013 PIT MVP Award. In three games Davies tallied 62 points, 28 rebounds, 9 assists, and led the group in FG% at 67.6%.
2013 PIT Champions – K & D Round’s Landscaping
K & D Round’s Landscaping outlasted the 2012 PIT champion, Roger Brown’s Restaurant, to earn championship trophy, hats and t-shirt. Despite getting down by nearly 20 points in the contest, Roger Brown’s put together a remarkable comeback, but despite pulling to within three with less than two minutes to play, K & D’s, behind 2013 PIT Tournament MVP Brandon Davies, held on for the hardware.
K & D Round’s Landscaping was crowned the 2013 PIT Champions.
