Patrick O’Bryant to join Tiburones de Vargas

Patrick O'BryantPatrick O’Bryant (213 cm, Bradley’06) has reached an agreement to join Tiburones de Vargas (Venezuela-LNB) just in time to play for the squad in the Venezuela LNB playoff semi-finals. O’Bryant was a 1st round pick (9th overall) of the Golden State Warriors in 2006, where he played for two seasons before being signed by the Boston Celtics in 2008 as a free agent. In Feb., 2009 he was traded to the Toronto Raptors where he played through the end of the 2010 season. He played for Enosi Kalatosfairisis Kavalas (Greece-A1) until Feb. of 2012 when he signed with Indios de Mayaguez (Puerto Rico-BSN). He finished his two-year collegiate career at Bradley where he led the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) in 2006 in Field Goal Percentage (.552), Blocks per Game Average (2.8 – 2005, 2.9 – 2006) and total blocks in a season in 2005 (75).
