Crvena Zvezda is definitely disappointed with this outcome. Nevertheless, they reduced the gap to 14 points and secured themselves a better season head-to-head score against Partizan. Remember that Crvena Zvezda triumphed in the 1st derby of the season by 15 points – 71:56.
Key moments: Partizan only had a 1-point lead ahead of the 4th period – 64:63, while then the black-and-whites played one of their best quarters of the season. Partizan scored no less than 34 points in the final 10 minutes, and they did it against one of the best defensive teams in Europe.
Man of the match: This was not just the best performance of Aleksa Avramović in this season, but it is also one of the best 2nd half performances ever seen in the regional league. Avramović scored 31 out of his 33 points in the 2nd half! That is just unbelievable.
Can’t trick the stats: If you look at the stats, you can’t miss his name. Aleksa Avramović scored 33 points, eight three-pointers, made six assists, and his overall index rating was 32. He is the player who made the difference tonight.
