Real Madrid snaps three-game losing streak in the EuroLeague
Real Madrid earned the 77-81 victory over Maccabi Tel-Aviv on Thursday night and snapped its three-game losing streak in the EuroLeague.
The “Whites” improved to 16-6 and remained close to the top of the EuroLeague standings.
On the other hand, the Israelis saw their undefeated streak at home come to an end and dropped to 14-8.
In Moscow, CSKA dominated rivals Khimki on the road and earned its fifth straight win in the EuroLeague (69-78).
The “Bear” is at 16-6, tied with Real Madrid and Barcelona for second in the standings.
For its part, Khimki dropped to 9-13 and its playoff place now is in jeopardy.
Olympiacos played very well defensively and rallied past Baskonia at home (80-70).
Moreover, the “Reds” retained their hopes to advance to the playoffs (9-13), but they have to fight tooth and nail in the coming games.
At the same time, the Basques dropped to 8-14, missing another chance to come closer to the playoffs.
Fenerbahce claimed its fifth victory in the last six games and remained one step away from the playoff zone (10-12).
