Nemanja Protic returns to Borac
Nemanja Protic (182 cm) is returning to his native Serbia to play with the team where his career started, KK Borac Mozzart Cacak (A League). Protic started the season in Turkey, where he played with Olin Edirne, but after just 3 games he left the team in October. In the 2011-2012 season, the 28-year old guard played for BC Nizhny Novgorod (Russia-PBL) with whom he competed in three competitions.
With Novgorod last season, Nemanja Protic played 12 Eurochallenge games and recorded averages of 10.9ppg, 2.2rpg, 1.6apg. He also participated in 18 VTB League games picking up 7.9ppg, 1.6rpg, 3.2apg, while he also played 18 times in the Russian League with averages of 6.8ppg, 1.4rpg, 1.7apg.
Protic has also played in the German Bundesliga with EWE Baskets Oldenburg, and his native Serbia with FMP Zeleznik Beograd (A-League). The player will now return to Serbia and to Borac where he started his career in 2005.
