Nemanja Aleksandrov inks with Oldenburg

Nemanja Aleksandrov (210 cm) has agreed a two year contract EWE Baskets Oldenburg (Germany, BBL) after recently ending a stint with Bruixa d’Or Manresa (Spain, ACB). The power forward/center featured in 10 games for Manresa and logged averages of 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.0 block per game in the ACB. Earlier in the season the Serbian was on the roster of VOO Verviers-Pepinster (Belgium Etihas League) where he played 19 games and averaged 16.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Nemanja Aleksandrov has previously played for Union Olimpija Ljubjana (Lithuania, LKL) and KK Cverna Zvezda Belgrade in his native Serbia. The 26-year old has been considered an NBA prospect and was a draft candidate in 2005 before he withdrew his name.
