Neitzel Departs Monthey
Drew Neitzel (183 cm, Michigan State’08) has parted ways with BBC Monthey (Switzerland, LNA), whom he played 10 games for in the first half of the 2012-13 season. The American is a product of Michigan State, and has flirted with the NBA on a number of occasions, as well as enjoying a call up to the USA national team in 2007 for the Pan-American Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Neitzel has played in the NBA Summer League twice, the first with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2008, and the second in 2009 with the Portland Trailblazers. The guard was also signed by the Dallas Maverick’s for the 2011-2012 season, but he failed to make the full roster and instead was assigned to Frisco Texas Legends (D-League) in December 2009.
Neitzel spent the first half of this season with BBC Monthey, where he recorded averages of 5.9ppg, 1.6rpg, and 4.0apg in his 10 games.

Very overrated player due to the fact that he doesn’t have a real position in my opinion
