Ndudi Ebi heads to Sidigas Avellino
As expected, Ndudi Ebi is back to Italy. The Nigerian forward penned a deal with Sidigas Avellino. They compete in SeriaA. Ebi most recently played for the Chinese NBL team Jiangsu Tongxi. He appeared 9 times for them averaging 29 points, 18.6 rebounds, 3.1 blocks, 2.3 assists and 2.2 steals. The Nigerian center spent last season in Lebanon. There he had 24.8 ppg, 9.3 rpg and 2.9 bpg for 10 games with Anibal Zahle. Ebi Ndudi is not a new face in Italy as he already played there from 2008 to 2011. He signed with Ferrara in 2008 registering 12.5 ppg and 6.1 rpg for 30 games in SerieA. Next year, Ebi had 15.3 ppg and 13.6 rpg with Rimini in LegaDue. Season 2010/11 Ebi Ndudi split between Imola and Limoges. With Imola he collected 19.2 ppg (No.5) and 9.2 rpg (No.1) for 21 games in LegaDue. Ndudi Ebi shined in 2007/08 season in Israel. He had 14.4 ppg and 8.5 rpg for 27 games with Bnei Hasharon in Israeli top division. Ebi was the top rebounder of the league and was named to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League 2nd Team. In the past, he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, but appeared only in 19 games for 2 years with them. Ebi was 26th overall pick in 2003 NBA draft. He never played for the Nigerian National Team.
