NBA Playoffs: Cavaliers win Eastern championship
They did it! The defending champions, Cleveland Cavaliers have claimed another Eastern conference championship in the NBA Playoffs after eliminating the Boston Celtics, 4-1. The stage is now set. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors are going to write the third chapter in their championship rivalry. The Warriors will host the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the finals, which will take place on June 1st. What better way to start the month of June than with what should be an amazing treat of basketball action?
Each team has won a championship over the last two seasons, making this one the rubber match. Tensions are high as the rivalry between these two clubs has intensified over the years. Barbs have been exchanged and egos have been bruised, but at the end of the day what matters to these players is winning that coveted NBA title.
