NBA fans respond to the breaking Anthony Davis news
The Los Angeles Lakers have been having a hard time again this season. They are only 20-25 on the year. A big reason for this is that star forward Anthony Davis has been out for more than a month with a foot injury. On Friday, important news about Davis came out that could help the Lakers a lot going forward.
On Sunday night, Anthony Davis and the Lakers won their first game.
Information from The Comeback
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN says that Davis’s right foot rehab is going well and that there is “optimism of a return” as soon as the end of next week.
The eight-time All-Star has been great when he’s been on the court this year, averaging 27.4 points per game and a career-high 12.1 rebounds per game.
Unfortunately, he has never been able to stay on the court. In the last three years in Los Angeles, he has never played more than 40 games in a season.
The NBA world is very happy to hear that he will be back soon. They hope that this time he will be able to stay on the court for a long time.

As the NBA trade deadline in February gets closer, what the Lakers do in the next few weeks could determine whether they are buyers or sellers in the market.
They have options that would be interesting to other teams at the deadline, but the return of Anthony Davis could give the Lakers a much-needed boost that could make a big difference in how well they play.
