NBA Agent Dan Fegan Dies in Car Crash
56-year-old NBA agent, Dan Fegan was killed in a two-vehicle collision near Aspen, Colorado. Fegan’s 5-year-old son was injured in the crash. According to the Colorado Police, Fegan was driving an SUV and was merging onto a highway and was hit by a commuter bus.
“Today we lost a great man, father, son and brother who always stood up not only for his clients, but also for what he knew was right,” Fegan’s family said in a statement through spokesman Terry Fahn . “We are all shocked and saddened by this tragic development and appreciate the outpouring of support. We ask for privacy at this difficult time.”
Fegan was fired by Independent Sports Entertainment in March last year, but he still remained in touch with some of his former clients. Some of the players Fegan has represented include Dwight Howard, John Wall, Ricky Rubio, and DeMarcus Cousins. Dan Fegan was also active as a basketball agent overseas, beyond the NBA.
