Mustafa Abdul-Hamid rejoins EWE Baskets

Mustafa Abdul-Hamid (188 cm, UCLA’10) is rejoining EWE Baskets Oldenburg from Germany’s BBL. He was with the team briefly to start the 2012-13 season but left in November 2012. He is now with the team again and is expected to stay with them for the remainder of the season.

Before he left, the 25-year-old played eight games for EWE Baskets and he averaged 4.1 ppg and 1.4 rpg. The team is currently third in the BBL standings with a record of 14-7.

Abdul-Hamid played the 2011-12 season Krka Novo Mesto from Slovenia’s Telemach League. He averaged 5.7 ppg and 2.3 rpg in 16 games playing in the Slovenian league, while averaging 5.8 ppg and 2.8 rpg in five games for the team in the EuroCup.
