Mirza Begic joins Efes

Mirza Begic (216 cm) has left Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia-Telemach League) after tonight’s Eurocup game vs Zenit Sankt Peterburg (Russia). Tomorrow he will be on his way to Turkish Powerhouse Anadolu Efes Istanbul.  Mirza Begic will be the replacement of the injured Nenad Krstic. The 29-year old Slovenian center, who also holds a Bosnian passport, started the 2014-15 season for Union Olimpija Ljubljana and averaged 12.5 ppg and 4.5rpg in the Eurocup. He notched 11.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in the Adriatic league. During the 2013/14 season Mirza Begic played for Olympiacos (Greece-A1) and logged averages of  3.6 ppg and 2.0 rpg in the Euroleague. He also played fourteen games in the Greek League and was able to notch 5.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Mirza Begic played for Slovenian Senior National Team between 2009 and 2013. He represented Slovenia at the European Championships in 2013 where he averaged 5.5 ppg and 5.6 rpg.

    as a replacement he is good, but i believe anadolu efes needs a player who has a lot of energy in the game

      They need a new coach and couple sane players.
