Miljan Pupovic moves to Naft Abadan
Serbian big man Miljan Pupovic (210 cm) is taking his game to Asia after agreeing to terms with Naft Abadan (Iran-Superleague) this 2015. He began the 2015-16 season playing for Tundja Yambol (Bulgaria-NBL). He logged three games for his former club before his departure and was able to deliver averages of 16.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg. Pupovic is no stranger to the Bulgarian NBL. In fact, he has spent the last two seasons playing there. In 2014/15 Miljan played for BC Levski Sofia (Bulgaria-NBL). He played eight games for them in the Adriatic league and averaged 10.8 ppg and 4.5 rpg. He also logged six games in the domestic Bulgarian league and there he posted averages of 10.0 ppg and 4.2 rpg. In November 2014 he moved to Cherno More Port Varna (Bulgaria-NBL), where he played in 2013/14. Pupovic finished the season with them, playing in 23 games and averaging 10.0 ppg and 4.9 rpg.
