Micheal Eric added by AEK Athens

Micheal Eric (210 cm, Temple’12) is a recent addition to the roster of AEK Athens (Greece-A1) as they make a push for a deep post-season run this 2016. Micheal is a Nigerian player who is coming over to the Greek club after starting off the 2015-16 season playing in the NBA D-League for the Texas Legends. In 39 games Eric was able to produce averages of 11.8 ppg and 9.4 rpg. He was also a force on the defensive end with 2 blocks per game.

In 2014-15 Micheal headed to Panelefsiniakos AOK Eleusina (Greek-A1) after his release from the Milwaukee Bucks, but was only able to play in one game before being picked up by Enel Basket Brindisi (Italy-Serie A). In that lone game he scored 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds. He played eight games for Enel Brindisis in the EuroChallenge and averaged 7.6 ppg. Micheal appeared in 23 games in the Italian league and there he recorded averages of 4.1 ppg and 5.5 rpg.
