Michael Jordan to make a comeback?
Michael Jordan is not afraid of a comeback and former player turned commentator Jalen Rose told Grantlands host Bill Simmons that MJ will play a league game for the Bobcats this season.
Jordan is widely considered the greatest NBA player of all-time and he has twice retired and come back into the sport. However, let´s be honest, there are enough obstacles stopping Jordan coming back to play a game for the Bobcats that we can safely dismiss Rose´s outlandish prediction. For a start Jordan is the majority owner of the franchise and there is a NBA rule that prevents owners taking to the court for a game.
We doubt Michael Jordan is willing to sell his stake in the Bobcats just to hit the court with the franchise for one game. It is also hard to imagine 50-year old Jordan just coming back for one game, even if his aged body is not tired from selling sneakers. Let´s file this one under “not happening”.
