Matt Lojeski extends with Olympiacos
Matt Lojeski (198 cm, Hawaii’07) has agreed to a contract extension with Greek and Euroleague club Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus keeping him with the team for a further three years. Lojeski is an American who received a Belgian passport in May 2013. Matt Lojeski joined Olympiacos at the start of the 2013/2014 season and played 32 Greek league games where he averaged 10.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. He also featured in 29 EuroLeague games and notched 11.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. In 2012/2013 Matt Lojeski played six games in for Oostende in the Eurocup and averaged 16.0 ppg and 5.3 rpg. He logged one game for them in the Euroleague and he tallied 16 points and six rebounds. Finally, in 32 games in the Belgian league Lojeski averaged 17.1 ppg and 4.9 rpg, helping his team secure their back-to-back Belgian League titles in 2012 and 2013.
