MarQuez Haynes agrees with Milano

Olimpia EA7-Emporio Armani Milano (Italy, Serie A) has added American guard MarQuez Haynes (191 cm, Texas Arlington’10) to the club’s roster. Haynes comes to the team from the NBA Pro Summer League in Las Vegas where he represented the Washington Wizards over 5 games with averages of 8.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. Last season the 26-year old played for Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck in the German BBL where he logged averages of 12.2ppg, 2.2rpg, and 3.2apg over 33 BBL games.

Milano’s head coach Banchi Luca welcomed MarQuez Haynes to the club in a statement.

“MarQuez Haynes is a versatile player, coming to Milano after precious experiences in three different leagues and at the European Championship of 2011, he is capable of playing the two guard positions, can use his athleticism and his energy on both ends of the floor. This season he’ll make his debut in Italy and in the Euroleague, and that’s an obvious reason to live the EA7 experience with great enthusiasm and motivation”.
