Marques Green back to Avellino

Marques Green (167 cm, St. Bonaventure’04) will continue his association with Italian Basketball after penning with Sidigas Avellino (Serie A). The American with a Macedonian passport is no stranger to the club as he donned the colours of Avellino during the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 seasons. His last campaign with the club saw him play 32 games and impress with averages of 16.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game.

After that, Marques Green played Euroleague Basketball with Cedevita Zagreb through the 2012/2013 season before he returned to Italy during 2013/2014 to play for Banco di Sardegna Sassari.

This season the point guard has been playing for TED Kolejliler Ankara in the Turkish TBL and from 21 games he posted numbers of 11.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per appearance. Marques Green is a 33-year old veteran who has previously played in France as well as numerous stints in Turkey and Italy over the years.
