Marko Popovic lands with Fuenlabrada

Montakit Fuenlabrada (Spain-Liga Endesa) has secured the services of veteran, Marko Popovic (185 cm, Southern Idaho CC’01) this 2015/16. The 33-year-old Popovic is a Croatian player who was a former member of the Croatian national team from 2003 to 2011. Marko spent the 2014/15 season playing for BC Khimky Moscow Region (Russia-VTB). He played 15 games for them in the Eurocup and was able to deliver averages of 9.9 ppg and 4.5 apg, helping them secure the Eurocup crown. Marko appeared in 29 games in the VTB United league and there he posted averages of 8.8 ppg and 3.4 apg.
