Mark Lyons heads to KK Zadar

Mark Lyons (185 cm, Arizona’13) will continue his rookie season as a pro with KK Zadar from Croatia’s A1. The Arizona product began the 2013-14 season with Chorale de Roanne Basket from France’s Pro A league. He played 14 games for them during his stint in the French league. Mark posted averages of 10.1 ppg and 1.6 apg during his run.

In his senior year at Arizona, Mark averaged 15.8 ppg and 2.8 apg in 36 games. In 2013 he was selected to the USBWA All-District IX Team, the NABC Division I All-District 20 1st Team, and the All-Pac 12 1st Team.

He only transferred to Arizona in his senior year of college. He spent majority of his time in college at Xavier (2008-2012). In 2011-12 he played 34 games for Xavier and averaged 15.1 ppg and 2.8 apg.
