Marius Prekevicius signs with Sanaye Petrochimi

Marius Prekevicius (195 cm, S.Florida’05) is bound for Asia, specifically the Islamic Republic of Iran where he’s signed with Sanaye Petrcohimi Mahshahr (Superleague). The Lithuanian played 24 games for BC Siauliali from his native country’s LKL in 2011-12 and averaged 2.5 ppg and 1.5 apg. He also represented the team in the Baltic League where he scored  1.2 ppg and handed out 1.2 apg in 18 games. That same season, Prekevicius averaged 2.0 ppg and 1.5 apg in two games in the VTB League.

Petrochimi currently has an impressive record of 15-1 in the Superleague and are looking to continue with a strong post season come the playoffs.
