Mario West joins Fuerza Regia

Mario West (195 cm, Georgia Tech’07) has signed with Fuerza Regia Monterrey (Mexico-LNBP). West played four years of collegiate ball with Georgia Tech, ending in 2007 and was picked up by the Atlanta Hawks, where he played from 2007-2010. He then spent some time in the NBA D-League and was signed to a short-term deal with the New Jersey Nets in 2011. At the beginning of the 2011-12 season he joined Tezenis Verona (Italy-Lega2) and played in 28 games, averaging 13.3 points per game. In the summer of 2012 West joined Meralco Bolts (Phillippines-PBA) to play in the Governor’s Cup, where he averaged 30.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game for 11 games.
