Manu Ginobili Announces Retirement
Manu Ginobili (198 cm) is calling it a career after 16 seasons in the NBA and has announced his retirement from basketball. He is a 41-year-old Argentinian-Italian international player who has won four NBA Championships with the San Antonio Spurs.
Ginobili, who is widely regarded as the best basketball player to come from Latin America, made his announcement via his Twitter account several hours ago.

Aside from being a four-time champion, Ginobili boasts of a long list of accolades in his 16 years with the Spurs. He won the Sixth Man of The Year award in 2007-08 and was a two-time All-Star.
There is no doubt at this point, that Ginobili heads off into the sunset with a future stop at the Basketball Hall of Fame. In his NBA career, Ginobili tallied 14,043 points, 4,001 assists, and 1,392 steals.
