Luther Head parts with BdR Valladolid

Ex-NBA guard Luther Head (191 cm, Illinois’05) is parting ways with Spanish Liga Endesa team Blancos de Rueda Valladolid. Head had originally signed with them in September this year. He was drafted by the Houston Rockets in the first round (24th) in the 2005 NBA Draft. His foray in Spain will be his first signing outside of the United States. After leaving the NBA, Head spent some time in the D-League.

In 2012-13 Luther signed with the Austin Toros (D-League) where he was able to log six games and average 9.3 ppg and 1.5 rpg. In January 2013 he moved to the Frisco Texas Legends (D-League). He played five games for them and averaged 16.4 ppg and 3.0 rpg.
