Larry Daniels to coach Bundaberg Bulls

Larry Daniels will take over the helm of Bundaberg Bulls (Australia-QBL). In a shake up of the coaching team at Bundaberg Basketball Daniels will have Mick Catlin, as his assistant. Former Bundaberg Bulls Coach, Darryn Roche, will call the plays for the Bears (Bundaberg’s women’s team) next season. The 41 year old Daniels has travelled the world playing and coaching basketball.  He visited Bundaberg with the PSM All Stars touring team in February 2014 and that was when the contact was first established between him and the club.Larry Daniels was impressed by the Bundaberg organization, the work ethic, and the youth development programm. This sparked his interest and lead to an agreement with the club. It will be Daniel’s first job as a the headcoach of a professional team. After a stellar playing career at Eastern Michigan University Daniels took his basketball skills overseas. He has lived abroad for most of the last 18 years and played professionally at top levels in 15 different countries.
